It’s a shame the late great ric drasin isn’t here he’d love these videos.
I am very much sure very soon the whole fitness industry will be following Doug training method... Your the best Doug love from India🇮🇳 🤗
That's our goal with the help of the people who believe in our message
Knowledge king #riplegend
Push ups using rings overcomes a lot of problems. Way deeper range of motion, and a close grip contraction at the top. Very effective.
YES!!!
As always, great content! Keep them coming🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Thank you🙏
Great stuff Doug and Moe
Thank you Schmoe
Another wonderful vid guys, I look forward to these.
Thanks Simon
in addition, using ab sliders for push-ups are a great chest and core exercise.
Hey guys loving the vids. Wouldnt the machine at 19:15 be even a better choice over the dumbbells based on the brig principles? since I'm guessing you can do it unilateral without compromising balance, and is way easier/safer to set up and gives you the possibly do an unlimited amount of weight.
The first video of the flat bench very very dangerous specially if the person goes heavy
Silly humans doing silly dangerous things
We are still in the dark ages Thank you Doug and Mo for helping us try to evolve great job
Thanks for the support Dern
Well said i second that!
Anyone have a view on whether palms forward or facing each other is better for performing dumbbell presses? The "Iron Guru", Vince Gironda always insisted on the palms facing each other otherwise it was primarily front deltoid work he stated. Not sure if I agree however, find commencing the movement at bottom with palms facing and rotating as you press up feels most "natural" and there is definitely a subtle difference to start palms forward, pronating alters position of biceps insertion relative to shoulder joint making it feel more restrictive. Conversely, maintaining palms facing all the way up feels as if humerus has to rotate under the shoulder carriage (acromium process?) diminishing the resistance however, rotating as you press seems to eliminate this problem.
If I'm doing 'push-ups' and I want to squeeze more reps out I shift my bodyweight off my toes and onto my knees. You can also add resistance by using an exercise band over your back and shoulders and holding ends in each hand.
Finally went over decline hammer strength.
Yes we had to do it
I always liked the decline hammer & hated the flat & incline hammers. The incline pinched my shoulders like nothing else so i quit it like 10 yrs ago
Another great video guys!!
Thank you jedi
Hammer Strength Wide Chest puts me in a great spot to activate the pecs.
Thank you
It would be great to analyze the different seated leg press machines.
Yes we planned to do that
Just had an idea dumbbells with bands wide, so you pull it together at the end 😂👍
Keep the video coming. Turn up Moe's mic
Yes I fixed the set up👌
I have suggestion for your vegas trip. A new gym opened up called the Dragons Lair owned by a IFBB pro that seems to be popular with pros and has some unique equipment that could be fun to analyze.
We're only going there for one day...
How can I bench with my arms directly out to the sides without damaging my shoulders?
I love Doug Brignole like father,I am computer and statistic scientist. He prove how smart are in every video.I have read more than 20 books on anatomy and biomechanics.Doug is realy an expert in biomechanics and physics.First slide handle is dumbell press but with dumbell fly's biomechanical rules. We want more videos and mention physiology too.
🙏
Your English is terrible
Would you say out of all the chest movement's the seated cable press pushing down towards your feet is a superior exercise?
Yes
@@SmartTraining365Biomechanics thank you
I have a question about DBs. I recently bought the book and have started on utilising the 'Brig20' for a new routine, on an Upper (cables mostly with 3 DB movements) and a Lower (Machine day basically with 3 DBs movements) three times a week. I use DBs for flat bench, would a floor DB bench/press be the equal?
No it's not equal, it's only an option of you have no bench at all
Good luck with your future event.looking forward to see deltoids exercise.
coming soon, thank you mikke
Where can I find the brig20 workouts
Hey Vincent, here is the link to the BRIG20 program:

If your looking for a training program please email me with your question so I can direct you to the right program.

Moe
Can you share a link on the barbell sleeve device?
I couldn't find it, I was looking for it too
how many degrees of decline did you have the bench? was that the "extreme" version from the book
Yes same one shown in the book
As I love your work I feel forced to give you unsolicited business advice:
Release your Brig-20 course at ~$50 price point as a entry level product
-Will allow you to get a lot more "qualified leads" to your sales funnel to upsell your other products
-Will allow you to spread your message
-These exercises are not "secrets", it will be just a matter of time that someone will release a video series showcasing all of them for free, I'd rather have it coming from the source with a fair price point
-Most potential customers (bodybuilders or ordinary gym goers) are not so much interested in the physics/biomechanics behind the movements, but they just want to learn the movements. Thus the science behind it won't provide them enough value to justify $400-500 price point. This is also why the book is not the best entry level product, but a upsell for all the people smart enough to be interested in the science behind the movements.
- That high $400-500 price point will make it seem like "snake oil" for many of the people who would be willing to give it a try with $50
I know how much work goes into creating these products and selling it at that price point might feel like a steal, but if you follow this advice you will see HUGE raise in volume of sales and total revenue for all your products especially with all the exposure you guys are getting at the moment. And not even talking about how many people you will be able to help to get better results and stay injury free.
Spot on!
My thoughts also. Insane price to learn 20 exercises. I'm thinking around 20$ but you could probably find the info for free I'm guessing.
@@davidplyler8173 in a vacuum 20 exercises with $20 would make sense. You can find this info for free, but me and many others would be willing to pay to find it in one place in a concise format.
But well crafted video course has production costs and fixed costs from the hosting to provide quality service. Without monthly subscription the hosting costs need to be charged "beforehand". Also in my personal opinion video instruction is more valuable than lets say written one, thus I think the value provided would be enough to justify the $50 price point.
One option would be to provide lets say .pdf list of the exercises with instructions how to perform them at $20 price point which would be even lower barrier of entry for the customers and less production & hosting cost for the business.
@@RAKSAPENA I understand but it's just 20 exercises. Did you buy it?
@@davidplyler8173 @Jonne Tanninen we call them the BRIG20 but the program itself doesn't include 20 exercises only.
There are at least 50 exercises (including the alternatives) + PDF of all the exercises and alternatives videos, 3D simulation of the exercises that will be used in the app were working on. It's a 8hour program,we're always adding more content.
This project started in April 2021 were about to upload the last video of the BRIG20. 7 months of at least 8 hours of work a day, it's selling at a discounted price of $200 for now, which is very reasonable, it's a one time fee, buy it once own it for life, we are not charging memberships. I understand that many people can do the exercises and share them for free on youtube, I see other fitness influencers selling from $50 to $999 programs, but we believe in our content and it's value, maybe in the future once we release the documentary and the app we will afford to reduce the prices a bit.
If you want to explain to me your idea or strategy please email me, I'm open for suggestions, it's hard to explain it in a comment. Thank you for your feedback Jonne and David.

Is the best chest exercise the slight decline dumbbell press?
Yes but with a specific set up as explained in the book / courses
😮😁
These analytical videos are really interesting. How would you rate a low cable crossover? (demonstrated here ruclips.net/video/Ub49dt2B2VI/видео.html ). I prefer this one seated on an incline bench with a small double cable pulley.
Moe, could you please speak a bit louder?
Yes it will be better the next video
@@SmartTraining365Biomechanics Thanks, Moe.
Btw could you please do a video demonstrating Doug's multi-hip machine?
And first
